Free your mind! In this class, students will learn how to create an abstract painting on paper. Students will be guided using verbal prompts, but intuitive play and spontaneous expression will be encouraged. Instruction will be presented using acrylic paints in a limited color palette, paint brushes, palette knives, and stencils.
Instructor: Julie Sheil is an intuitiveUp abstract artist residing in University Heights, OH. Her body of work includes expressive acrylic paintings, mixed media, and collage pieces that have been exhibited throughout Northeast Ohio. Recently, Julie has been combining her love of nature photography, collage, and painting by creating mixed media pieces using photo collages of trees and plants.
