  • Our objective is to create a community of artists where customers can find local art.  Through membership with Stella’s Art Gallery you will be able to:

    • Display your work in a beautiful insured art gallery located in the Historic Downtown Willoughby

    • ​Enjoy low commission and affordable rent according to your membership level

    • Be part of a public gallery including its events and promotions through social media advertising, press releases, and radio

    • Have a permanent presence on the Gallery’s website 

    • Receive revenue from sales the first Friday of every month

    • Teach classes

    • Have access to professional development workshops held at the Gallery

    • Opportunities to share your creative energies with other artists

    • Gain a collaborative customer base

    • As we share our gallery on social media, shows, and exhibits, the customer base will grow exponentially.  

  • We ask that you be the sole originator of your artwork, that the work be recent, and professional. 

    Entry to the gallery is juried and consideration will be given to both the standard of the artwork submitted and to whether it fits within the gallery’s existing portfolio.

  • Prospective artisans must return a completed application below along with 5 JPEG photographs of their work.

    Applications without photographs will not be considered.

    If you have a special display for your work (i.e. jewelry case, pedestal, electricity, etc.) please include that information in your application.

    If you have photos of your display, please submit those with your application as well.

    Your application will be juried by Stella’s Art Inc. Board of Representatives.

There are three membership options for artists

    • Rent studio space and display in an insured gallery

    • Access to instructional space if desired

    • Featured in shows

    • Have access to discounted workshops

    • Have work marketed and advertised through gallery promotions

    • Have social media clips and business cards with gallery branding  

    Gold artists must work 8 hours a month (minimum 2 shifts) in the gallery and sign a 1 year contract.

    Rental fees are according to square footage.

    • Featured in a shows with other Silver members

    • Be included in marketing and promotions

    • Have social media clips and business cards with gallery branding

    Rent available in 2, 3, 4, or 5ft wide by approximate 10ft tall (floor to ceiling) personal display space from $20-$50 a month

    Sales accrue a 25% consignment fee

    Must work gallery once a month (4hr shift).

    Minimum 1 year contract.

    May rent more than one space.

    Minimum 6 month contract.
