Cath is a ceramic artist, oil painter, and maker inspired by the quiet beauty of the landscapes where she grew up in rural England and Scotland. For the past 20 years, she has made her home in Willoughby, Ohio, where she lived with her husband, their dog, and three cats. Her work blends ancient craft traditions with contemporary sensibilities, creating objects and paintings that carry a sense of stillness, presence, and soul.

Shorter and rounder than its pair, Tide Shift II offers a quiet fullness. The celadon glaze moves in a soft band across the form—gathering, pausing, almost settling. There’s a subtle sense of breath held at the surface.
At 5.5 inches, it’s suited for ikebana, single stems, or as a quiet object on its own.
