Grace Klein

Medium: Fiber

My name is Grace Klein and I am a 4th generation artist at Stella’s Art Gallery. Growing up I was always creating art and selling at craft shows with my mom and grandma. I started out when I was 10 making paracord bracelets and along with Christmas ornaments. To learn more about me, read my bio under my products.

In high school, I took all of the art courses available learning how to use a variety of mediums to create 2D and 3D pieces. During this time, I started making friendship bracelets and teaching myself how to crochet outside my high school classes. These skills became central to my artistic identity.

As a student-athlete at The Ohio State University, where I became a Big Ten Champion while majoring in psychology with minors in addiction and substance misuse studies and American Sign Language, I found that creating friendship bracelets served as essential stress relief. This practice evolved into something deeper as I began taking crochet and punch needling seriously, designing unique products that reflected my growing artistic vision.

Now, having completed my Master of Arts in Intervention Services and currently pursuing an Education Specialist Degree in school psychology at Youngstown State University, I am preparing to serve my community as a school psychologist. In this role, I plan to harness my creativity to support every student's individual needs, understanding
firsthand how art can heal and inspire.

My fiber arts practice continues to flourish as I design rugs and clothing that bring brightness to everyday life. Whether I am punch needling a vibrant rug or crocheting a cozy sweater, my work reflects a deep belief that handmade beauty has the power to transform ordinary moments into something special.
