Mediums: photography

In architecture, there is beauty.  The beauty is, of course, in the stone, glass, and metal - but also in the structure. The lines and arcs sing and dance.  The mathematics of each item comes to life: not just numbers but three dimensions of color and movement.  

With professional training and experience as an engineer, I have always enjoyed seeing mathematics take on form and function in the physical world.  The images that are created are ones that take you deep into the page, allowing you to see the patterns unfold as you travel though the scene.

I capture the images using digital technology, but then step back and experiment with multiple areas of historical and modern photography to bring out the most interesting parts of what I see.
