Momagami  is a Japanese process that paper into “fabric”. This fabric can be more manipulated than plain paper and is less fragile when sewn.  Learn how to make them, which additives work best for which papers, and use them as layers in your art journal or collages.  All supplies are provided by the instructor but feel free to bring anything of your own that you may want to include. Teens and adults welcome.

Anna Weisend has been a practicing artist for over 30 years in many different mediums and has been teaching for 20. She is currently a member of Stella’s Art Gallery and is a Collaborative Mixed Media and Assemblage artist who creates as part of a mother/daughter team.
