Intro to Intuitive Abstract Collage with Julie Sheil

Students will learn how to create an abstract collage on paper. Instruction will emphasize intuitive play balanced with basic design principles. All necessary materials are provided by the instructor and will focus on a limited color palette with papers of various textures.

Julie Sheil is an intuitive abstract artist residing in University Heights, OH. Her work explores abstraction through expressive acrylic paintings, mixed media, and collage, and her award-winning work has been exhibited throughout Northeast Ohio. Recently, she has been combining her love of nature photography, collage, and painting by creating mixed media pieces using photo collages of trees and plants.
