Build upon the learned techniques taught in Homeschool 101 Clay Class. Further develop coil, slab, and pinch pot methods to create functional and decorative pottery. Glazing techniques will be learned to complete each piece created. Preregistration necessary. The class fee includes an optional private wheel lesson with the instructor.
Wheel time is available during classes after the student has one private lesson on the potter's wheel.

Age: 8 and up

About the Instructor:
Dani Klein, MA, ATR (Registered Art Therapist) specializes in self-esteem and positive affirmation, prevention lessons, along with fine art techniques with a focus in clay. Dani has developed and implemented many art programs specializing in these methods in our local schools and the Lake County YMCA. Currently, Dani is co-owner/founder of Stella's Art Gallery that homes over 55 local artists whom showcases their art to our community through their work, shows, and classes.
