Artists must be the originators of work being entered into these Calls and created in the last five years. Artist must personally assume responsibility for their art work and release Stella’s Art Gallery and it’s employees from loss or damage to their property. Stella's also reserves the right to refuse controversial or inappropriate images to each exhibitions. Stella’s Art Gallery will take a 30% commission on any sold artwork during the run of the show. Art must be wired to hang with name and title prior to dropping off. Each call will have an entry form ready to download one month prior to its due date. All mediums welcome unless specified. Each show is juried by a non-Stella's member and cash prizes will be awarded.

August: 8th Annual Northeast Ohio Show

Call for art inspired by Northeast Ohio.
All mediums welcome. Each show is juried by a non-Stella's member and cash prizes will be awarded. Please include a statement supporting the Northeast Ohio location and how it inspired you to create your work.

Drop off dates: August 1 and 2nd 12:30-7:30 and August 3rd 11:30-5:30
Reception: August 9th 7-9pm Awards promptly at 8:00
Fee to enter: 1 for $15, 2-3 for $30, 4 for $40, 5 for $50
I Hereby grant permission for my art work to be displayed at Stella’s Art Gallery August 6th-September 9th. Notification of acceptance will be after 9:00pm of August 6th. Unaccepted work must be collected by August 7th 11-6pm. Art will be picked up after the run of the show September 9th Noon-5:30pm. Got something unusual and or strange? Know of any urban legends? Or just have something weird? Then we’d like to see it in any medium! We challenge you to step out of the box -kick it to the side, and create the most warped, strange, and unique pieces that you can. All medias accepted: assemblage, collage illustration and more....Just don't be ordinary.

Ekphrastic Poetry
ATTENTION ALL NORTHEAST OHIO POETS CASH PRIZE for
Stella's Art Gallery is seeking poets for a night of ekphrastic poetry! What is ekphrastic poetry, you may ask? Basically ekphrastic poetry is poetry written about works of art. We invite poets of ALL experience levels to come to our main gallery, choose an artwork that inspires you, and write a poem about that artwork. Each artwork would have one poem only, so if it's taken, feel free to find another that inspires you! We will allow the poets a week in which to create their poem. We will then have an "open mic" night in which you read the poem next to the artwork you've chosen. Perfect for all you poets in Northeast Ohio that would like to be heard, or experienced and established poets who would enjoy a unique challenge!
To participate:
1. Poets must visit Stella's Art Gallery's OddBall Show and pick out their artwork between October 11 - 24th.
2. Poets must notify the front desk their name and artwork selected to write about.
3. Pay the $15 registration fee at the front desk.
