Class (16 years and older) will paint a 14" x 60" 8mm Habotai silk scarf using a gutta resist and Jacquard silk dye. One scarf and all necessary materials are included in the class fee. The instructor will steam the scarves to set the colors. They may be picked up at the gallery the following week during gallery hours.
About the Instructor:
Candace has been creating art for many years, drawing, painting, metal smithing, and textile decorating. Her work is inspired by nature and all its glorious colors. Her work may be viewed at her studio in Stella's Art Gallery.
