Learn basic skills for Stained Glass - Copper Foil Method! Class is designed for those with no experience in drawing or stained glass.
We will learn about what tools options are available & how to setup, Safety, Pattern & Glass Selection, Tracing & Numbering, Cutting, Grinding, Foiling, Fluxing, Soldering and display options. Choose from several different free patterns.
Class Price Includes a Coupon for a free 3-hr studio session! Use this time to to start your next project or finish your first. Providing you with a total of6 hours of instruction!
Getting Started has never been easier! This class is structured as a Try-It opportunity to allow you to try all aspects of the process without a large investment. If you Love It, you can continue in my Glass Open Studio or purchase equipment for your own home glass studio.
Safety: Close-toed shoes and pants are highly recommended. Safety glasses should be worn (will provide if needed) If you are expecting, schedule class for after your delivery.DISCLAIMER: Stella's Art Inc & it's instructors are not responsible if you injure yourself. Waiver will be provided in class.
All Tools & Materials are Provided: Use our tools and grinder during class. Project materials - select your glass from our in-house selection. Copper foil and soldering supplies are also included. No need to go out and buy expensive Starter Kits.
Optional Materials: Pen/paper for notes, phone/camera for great pics of a fun class! If you have stained glass tools or safety glasses, you are welcome to bring them to class. Please dress for a mess - you can bring a smock or bib apron.
