Painting a vibrant glass candle holder with Alcohol Inks with Pat Grace January 24th 1-3pm
Create one 6-inch pillar candle holder (stand base included).
Awaken your creative side as you work with the vibrant beauty of alcohol
inks. Painting with alcohol inks is a carefree way to intuitively paint in the
moment. This is so stress free that the inks almost paint themselves. It is
also quite easy to undo any unwanted “mistakes” …so basically you can’t
go wrong! You will be instructed on different techniques that engage the
inks to move and blend beautifully together. You will be given time to
practice before you execute your design. All supplies are included. Dress
for possible mess on cloths or bring an apron. Disposable Gloves will be
provided.
Class location: Stella’s Art Gallery (large classroom space)
Maximum students: 4-6
About the Instructor:
Pat Grace is an innovative artist. She loves to discover new ideas in Art
and implement them. Art classes have always been important to her since
grade school. She realized at a young age that she could do things with a
pencil and paintbrush that many could not do. She knew it was a gift that
fed her soul. She is a true believer that anyone can create art, because it
comes in all forms. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. She
completed her freshman year in Studio Art at Kent State University. She
took a pause practicing her talents as she raised a family and pursued her
Medical career. She missed the exhilarating creative energy of doing her
own artwork and being around others’ innovative energies as they create.
She has reignited her passion to create Art and embrace all the wonderful
innovative ideas that go along with that. She looks forward to sharing that
“food for the soul” type of energy with you all.
