WHAT TO EXPECT BEGINNER FRIENDLY


During this class you will learn the different steps to make your own granny square

project to continue making on your own at home including:

  • How to make a chain and a cluster of double crochet stitches to make a

square(s)

  • How to change colors
  • Attach your squares to create shapes/items


I will provide:

extra crochet hooks just

incase

scissors

Yarn needles


Monday 1/19 (MLK jr. day)

Time: 3-4:30 pm (1.5 hrs)

Ages 14 and up


MATERIALS

Please bring size H (5 mm) crochet hook and medium

weight yarn (weight 4) in at least one color. It can be bought at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or Amazon. The brand Big Twist at Michaels and a favorite of mine.

Please avoid bringing any yarn that has texture or glitter since it

can be difficult to use. You can bring any colors or multicolor yarn.
