About the Instructor:
I am a retired art teacher. I taught for Ledgemont Schools for 30 years and Berkshire Schools for 3 years. I taught primarily high school art. I loved my job. I loved my students. But, after 33 years, it was time to start a new chapter in my life. Now I am on a journey to discover my own artistic voice. I am a visual storyteller. I find inspiration in the quiet, simple moments of everyday life. These are the moments that speak to my heart. My art reflects the story behind these moments and my images are an invitation to share in that story. I am inspired by picture books, fairy tales and the music that became the soundtrack for my life.
I consider myself an illustrator, photographer, work with paper/book arts. I work with assemblage, glass, and coiled basket techniques.
